We designed this extension to a bungalow set into the cliff face to makes the most of the stunning sea views of the Solent and the Isle of Wight, whilst taking advantage of the changes in level. The project involved the design of a two storey extension to a seafront bungalow. Unusually the lower floor of the extension is at cellar level / lower ground level.
The new open plan living room at ground floor level was designed with vaulted ceilings, stairs to the lower level and a gable of glass overlooking the balcony and the sea beyond. The lower level has utility, shower room and family room with direct access to the garden and beach.
