Planning granted to convert bungalow to house in Stubbington
We’re pleased to announce that we have just secured planning permission to transform a modest hipped-roof bungalow in Fareham into a spacious, contemporary family home.
The scheme adds an impressive 102m² of additional living space across two floors, carefully reworking the existing footprint to unlock its full potential. By subtly raising the ridge, the new first floor will accommodate three generous bedrooms and two bathrooms, while the ground floor provides two additional bedrooms with accompanying bathrooms, creating a flexible layout ideal for modern family living.

To the rear, a 46m² kitchen family room will become the heart of the home. A glazed gable will flood the space with natural light whilst framing views across the garden, creating a strong visual connection between inside and out. The completed layout also includes a separate living room, utility, and a new walk in pantry tucked neatly off the kitchen.
Designed within strict height constraints, the new upper storey has been carefully proportioned to sit comfortably with the existing architecture of the lower storey. The result is a seamless blend of old and new, a considered transformation that feels both natural and contemporary.
