Martlet Close

Working with a standard estate house, we redesigned and extended the ground floor to create a modern twist on a typical rear extension.

Gone is the obligatory conservatory that overheats in the summer and freezes in the winter to be replaced with a light filled extension. Our design introduced a much needed utility room in the centre of the house whilst extending and opening up the rear of the home to be filled with natural light. Roof lights within shallow pitched roofs with vaulted ceilings allow sunlight to stream into the older parts of the home, providing a kitchen and family room any family would be proud of. Our design also introduced gable windows to the hall and cloakroom to flood the house with light.

Description:   Single storey extension and alterations.
Brief:   Replace the conservatory with a modern extension.
