Remodelling a 1970s house has produced this desirable classic.

A traditional design was the solution to craft this estate house in Fareham into a comfortable family home. Doubling the homes footprint allows a young family to spread, whilst the open plan family room and kitchen provide the house with today’s most desirable asset. Striking traditional gables, bay and dormer windows and a verandah add a touch of New England.

We redesigned this home to work on all levels. The repositioned central entrance beneath a verandah leads straight into the hall with dramatic off set stairs. To the rear Family and Living Rooms access the garden with sliding folding doors. Siting the guest bedroom with ensuite at the opposite end of the house to the master suite ensures privacy for all.
