Extending this sea front bungalow with a modern glazed extension has created a desirable modern beach house.

This extension to a property on the cliff face makes the most of the stunning sea views and changes in level.

The project involved the design of a two storey extension to a single storey seafront bungalow. Unusually, the lower floor of the extension is at cellar level / lower ground level.

The new open plan living room was designed with vaulted ceilings, stairs to the lower level and a gable of glass overlooking the balcony and the sea beyond. The lower level has utility, shower room and hobby room with direct access to the garden and beach.
