| This 1960s house was brought into the 21st century with a full facelift. Stone columns, many roof pitches and clean lines gave this desirable home a contemporary American feel | Originally the house had unsightly flat roofs across the full width of the house and garage. The owners gave us a free hand to redesign their home, and we were only too pleased to oblige with this neat design. Working with the original lines of the house, we were able to design the extensions and porch to provide an aesthetically pleasing and practical layout. The new design provided guest suite accommodation of bedroom and bathroom above the garage, served by its own stairway. We also introduced, a new open porch, a greatly improved hallway with arched ceiling, a new utility room and various other changes to improve the use of the home. |
